Desserts > Spice 'N Crumb Banana Bars

2 C. flour
1 1/2 C. sugar
3/4 C. bown sugar
1/2 C. plus 2 T. softened butter

Mix above ingredients at low speed of mixer till crumbly. Press 1 1/2 C. into an ungreased 13X9 pan. Reserve 1/2 C for topping.

To remaining crumb mixture add the following:
1 t. salt
1 t. soda
1 t. cinnamon
1/2 t. nutmeg
1/2 C. sour cream
1 egg
1 C. thinly sliced ripe bananas.
3/4 C. cocoanut (optional)

Beat 1 minute at medium speed till well blended. Pour over crumb crust. Sprinkle with reserved crumb mixture . Bake 30-40 min. till golden brown.

I was searching for this recipe for days! I recently moved and temporarily lost my cookbook!
A couple of corrections: "brown" sugar; "coconut" and oven temperature (350*???)
