Main Dish > 5 Hour Stew

1 1/2 lbs stew meat
5 med. potatoes - cut into big chunks
2 cups carrots - cut into 1 inch pieces
1 cup chopped onion
1 cup celery cut into 1/2 inch pieces
2 - 14.5 oz cans stewed tomatoes
2 - Tbsp quick cooking tapioca
1 - Tbsp sugar
Salt and pepper to taste

Combine all ingredients in large bowl. Mix gently. Put in a 3 quart pan. Cover with lid, bake at 275 for 5 hours. Let stand 5 min before serving

(Optional: Bake at 350 for 3 hours)
